Five of us from the club went to the 2026 Masters Nationals in Parkstone, Poole Harbour, in July.

We got sent out of the harbour on the Friday and Saturday, battling with the Sandbanks Ferry, to sail in front of Bournemouth beach.

On the Sunday the wind took a little time to fill in and they kept us inside the harbour.

Friday night we ate at the club and attended a gin tasting. They were giving prizes out but we were unlucky.

On Saturday night there was a sit down dinner, again with a sail number raffle, but we won nothing again.

The sailing was pretty good, it was well organised, and we all had a great weekend. So much so that there was talk of attending the Masters Inlands at Draycott Water on the weekend of the 7th/8th November.
